My Scraps & More Sketch #116 and Guest Designer - Jessy Christopher

Hey, everyone! We have another Guest Designer for you and this month and this it is the talented Jessy Christopher!

Let's get to know Jessy a little bit:

1) Tell use a little bit about yourself (where you live, hobbies, blog addy, scrappy background, etc.) Hello! My name is Jessy Christopher. I am a stay at home mummy & an avid scrapbooker in Malaysia. Married to my very supportive husband, Eric for 10 years now. We have a beautiful baby girl, Katelynn & 2 feline fur-babies. I started off with digital & hybrid scrapbooking late 2007 and finally ventured into paper scrapbooking in the early of 2008. What I love the most about scrapbooking is the freedom to express myself & also to preserve memories in a creative way. Over the years, I have the privilege to be published in several magazines and also designed for various manufacturers. Currently I am designing for Maggie Holmes Design Team, PinkFresh Studio, Prima Marketing, Felicity Jane & Citrus Twist Kits. You can find me at my blog, www.jcchris.com & on Instagram too, @jcchris.

2) Tell us about your scrappy style and habits I love to try out different techniques & enjoy playing with different medium (mist, gelatos & paint). I am a BIG fan of patterned papers & versatile in my creations. In my layout, you'll mostly see clean lines, balance, 3D, clustering & colorful choices. I really love using my Silhouette Cameo to create fun backgrounds too!

3) Describe your sketch making process (i.e., do you make the sketch first or the page first? Where do you get your ideas for sketches?) It really depends. If I'm needed to contribute sketch, I will usually have the sketch first. Otherwise it will be layout first, then I will sketch it out later. I get my inspiration from a lot of places - it can be magazines, tv advertisement, clothes, etc. And of course, Pinterest too!

4). What are 5 products/trends or techniques that are your favorite right now? 1. Geometric Shapes 2. GOLD on everything 3. Brush Scripting 4. Watercolors 5. Silhouette Cameo.
